OBJECTIVE - To produce exciting and dynamic media using advanced skills, software and hardware. To be versatile in all areas of production from start to completion in order to lift restrictions on reaching this goal. To fully understand the final product quality and the results it will have on the target audience.

Hello, my name is Shawn Cipes. I am an audio engineer, musician, photographer, videographer and graphic designer who is extremely passionate about all areas of audio and multimedia production. I am also a Digidesign ProTools HD certified operator (Certification #851063). I recently graduated from the Recording Arts Program at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida and hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Florida Atlantic University. MUSIC PRODUCTION - RECORDING and MIXING
The audio clips below are songs that I recorded and mixed for other bands in Full Sail's studios. These songs were recorded on both a SSL 9000J console and an AMEK 9098i console and mixed using a SSL AWS 900+ console. Click on the images below to hear my mixes.

MUSIC PRODUCTION - SONG WRITING and SOUNDSCAPES
The following audio clips are songs and soundscapes that I wrote, recorded and mixed using Pro Tools and Logic. In these examples I used both virtual instruments and real instruments to create the final product. Click on the images below to hear my songs.

FIELD RECORDING
These clips are various field recordings that I created. They are raw field recordings that I made using various types of microphones and digital recorders (including a Marantz PMD660, a Sound Devices 722, a Sony PCM-D1 and others). Click on the images below to listen.

SOUND DESIGN
These audio clips represent various sound effects that I created. Some of them are mixed and processed using Pro Tools plugins and some were done using hardware processors. Click on the images below to hear the clips.

These are a few examples of my graphic design and photography abilites. While they have nothing to do with audio, I feel that my ability to design and create imagery is a huge advantage in producing a final product that stays true to the goal of each project I work on.
